On this website there is a plan to eliminate war forever including:

  • An alternative more civilised procedure for countries to resolve their differences other than war.If you want peace and not war and would like more information about this procedure, CLICK HERE
  • How this new procedure could be written into International law and how the law could be policed. If you want to read more about how we can stop war, CLICK HERE
  • A detailed plan as to how we can stop existing wars. To read more about how to stop the war(s)in The middle East and Afghanistan, CLICK HERE
  • How the money saved on a mere 10% reduction of military expenditure worldwide could be diverted to solve the other problems the World faces like poverty, climate change, disease and the recent financial meltdown. To read more about the goals we should set for the planet, CLICK HERE

Over 2000 well known people including politicians and celebrities have indicated they are anti war and want peace. To find out which well known people are anti war and want peace, CLICK HERE

Did you know?

  • The total worldwide expenditure on the military (2007) is a massive 1714 billion U.S.D P.A
  • The total worldwide expenditure on development aid for poor countries is 104 billion U.S.D P.A
  • A reduction of a mere 10% of military expenditure worldwide would free up an additional 171 billion U.S.D P.A  that could go a long way to solving the other problems facing the planet as detailed above.
  • There are currently 21.2 million military personnel worldwide, a 10% reduction would free up 2.1 million people to help out in developing countries, by working with aid agencies and N.G.O's to build schools, homes, hospitals, infrastructure and assist with other developmental plans. The developed nations could continue paying these military personnel so there would be no additional cost involved. The big difference would be that their work would be constructive and not destructive, and no doubt much more satisfying for the people involved.
  • It is estimated that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have cost the U.S alonetrillion U.S.D (over and above their annual defence budget), of which they have borrowed 1 trillion U.S.D from China. The money spent (wasted) on these wars contributed at least in part to the recent meltdown of the Global economy. So the wars have affected at least to some degree the livelihood of hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.
  • It is estimated that over 2 million children have been killed in war over the past 10 years with many more injured and maimed for life. These are not just numbers they are real people, someone’s baby, grandson, granddaughter, brother and/or sister (this fact alone should be enough to convince you to sign the petition and help make a difference).
  • There is no doubt that war brings out the worst in people with politicians giving soldiers a license to commit mass murder. Rape is rife in the killing fields past and present. As an example it is estimated that 200,000 refugees were raped during the genocide in Rwanda. These are not just numbers they are real people, someone’s daughter, grand-daughter, sister and/or best friend.
  • War has a huge carbon footprint with the U.S military alone being the largest single user of oil in the world.
  • In 2001 all 192 countries unanimously passed a United Nations resolution (A Res/55/282) formerly establishing an annual day (21st September) of global cease fire and peace (thanks to the incredibly hard work put in by Jeremy Gilley with support from Jude Law, Annie Lennox, David Beckham and many others). If all the nations in the world can agree to stop war for a day surely the next step is to ban it forever. This is the purpose of the petition on this website .
  • A poll conducted in February 2009 revealed that 74% of Palestinians and 78% of Israelis accept a two state solution and support a negotiated peace in the Middle East. The politicians involved should show true leadership and put their combined energies into achieving peace for the benefit of the people living in the region and future generations. To find out how we can stop war in the Middle East, CLICK HERE
  • That if you google anti war or peace websites the result is a massive combined total of over 70 million groups listed. To find out why and how these groups should work together for peace, CLICK HERE

We can put pressure on the politicians to eliminate war forever through the power of the people. To sign the petition, CLICK HERE
